MSU’s AAF chapter was assigned a national client, Indeed, and a case study that outlined its history and current problems. 7 months were spent creating a fully integrated marketing campaign to then compete in the National Student Advertising Competition.

The Work

Mushroom unaided consideration between 18-24 year olds by the end of 2023, show the simplicity Indeed has to offer with their quick and user-friendly interface, increase market share within the target and surrounding audiences.

Key Insight

Our research revealed that our audience values simplicity and ease. They look for something that will achieve their short-term goals when applying for jobs. Gen Z spends roughly 1-5 hours per week looking for jobs and uses social media as a tool of reference when learning new things or seeking more information

Job searching is not considered a hobby or an action that people are eager to complete, rather its something they want to quickly accomplish to get to the next step. By showcasing Indeed as the easiest website to find job applications, we will increase its unaided consideration for the job hunt industry.

We will elevate Indeed above its competitors by highlighting the simplicity the platform provides, making the job search process more efficient.
